Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing

This position is a .6 FTE assigned to Itinerant Services and will serve Forest Lake Area Schools, South Campus Education Center, and Bellaire Education Center. The anticipated start date is August 2024.

Special Education Teacher (EBD, ASD or DCD)

Work Experience Life Skills (WELS) North serves students ages 18-21 who have emotional behavioral disorders (EBD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD). WELS North prepares students to progress toward graduation at an individual pace. Our students experience intensive special education services so they can participate as fully and independently as possible in school, at home and in the community.

TOSA – Instructional Coach

Opened in the fall of 2018, Quora Secondary School is designed to meet the unique needs of students in grades 9-12+, with expertise in EBD, ASD, and DCD. The team at Quora ensures that students' unique interests and perspectives are reflective in their school experience, where students can make clear connections between what they learn in school, and what they need to succeed. At Quora, everyone is treated with respect, dignity and compassion.

Special Education Teacher, Transition Program

Hands-on learning ensures our nature-based curriculum and community partnerships prepare students to be successful in high school and beyond.

Northeast Metro 916 Career and Tech offers 20 programs that give high school students the COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE of professional skills, industry certifications and college credit (in many programs) that give students a head start toward post-secondary success while earning high school elective credit.

Special Education Teacher (LD, ABS, or EBD)

Project Return is a short-term, school-based program that is offered as an alternative to out-of-school suspension, or as an alternate educational setting. Students in grades 6-12 who are facing expulsion or are suspended for three to ten school days may enroll for up to 45 school days, during which time they continue to pursue their academic goals while participating in community services designed to support positive behavior.

Pankalo Education Center serves students in grades K-8 who have emotional behavioral disorders (EBD), autism spectrum disorders (ASD), developmental cognitive disabilities (DCD), and certain low-incidence disabilities. Pankalo has an integrated arts theme; the goal is to provide a compassionate, creative, safe, and child centered learning environment, where our students grow academically, socially, and personally, while tapping into their creativity.
