This position is available for Brooklyn Center Community Schools students in grades 9-12.Â
Summary: Youth Researchers will design and conduct research for the Youth Participatory Action Research (YPAR) group at Brooklyn Center Community Schools. Research projects will be truly youth-led in partnership with adults. This is a highly collaborative group and researchers must be open minded and communicative. Findings will be presented to appropriate audiences and used to aid the district in determining and reaching goals. Working as a team, students will complete literature reviews, build theory, design research projects, collect data, analyze data, and present findings to various audiences (ex. school board, community, teachers).Â

Position Details:
- Tuesday/Thursday(4Â hours a week)
- Earn $14.00/hour
