Health Specialist Substitutes
Serving Grandview Middle School, Hilltop Primary School and Shirley Hills Primary School
Typical assignments are 6.5 Hours/Day on student days only
Pay rate – $17.00 per hour, plus $1.50 LPN differential, $3.00 RN differential
Position Available: Immediately
Qualifications: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Must have experience administering First Aid & CPR. Previous relevant experience and LPN or RN license preferred.
General Nature of Job: Provide first aid care to sick or injured students and monitor health conditions as requested according to the guidelines set forth by the District and within established treatment plans. Administers medications as requested by a parent and doctor under the supervision of the Licensed School Nurse. Requires effective skills working with PreK-Grade 7 students. Must be familiar with technology. Demonstrate accurate file and record keeping.
