Qualifications:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Prior experience working with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team environment
– Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and schedules
– Ability to follow directions and work independently
– Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as required by state and local regulations.
Location: District Wide
Pay Rate/Range: $16.66/hr.
Deadline: 6/30/2025 –– EOE  Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check. (7/11/2024)

Summary:
We are seeking Substitute Educational Assistants to work on an as-needed basis within our school district. The ideal candidates will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment, and assisting with various classroom tasks.

Responsibilities:
– Provide support to teachers in the classroom.
– Assist students with classroom assignments and activities, including reading, writing, and math
– Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe and positive learning environment
– Help with classroom organization and maintenance, including cleaning and organizing materials and supplies
– Assist with special education programs and support students with disabilities
– Communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that arise
