Position:  Special Education Coordinator (Openings at Elementary and Secondary)
Work Schedule:  Monday – Friday, Full-time, 12 months/year
Start Date: ASAP
Pay:  $87,000 – $118,000 dependent on qualifications and in accordance with the Non-Affiliated Handbook

Required Qualifications:

  • Minnesota Director of Special Education license, or currently in a program to obtain licensure
  • At least three years of teaching and/or administrative experience to include supervisory experience
  • Master’s degree in special education instruction or related special education field, preferred
  • Current teaching license in special education or related fields

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure provision of FAPE for learners receiving Special Education services
  • Principal/SPED Lead Contact
  • Assist as Due Process Compliance and Trainer 
  • Mentoring SPED Leads
  • Support Fed Setting III 
  • Support transitions from 916
  • Due Process Coordinator
  • Behavior Consultation Team membership
  • Coordination of SpEd Forms platform
  • ESY development/supervision
  • Third Party Billing technical implementation
  • CTSS Coordination
  • 504 Administrator, Training and Assistance
  • Partner in performance appraisal for licensed staff
  • Develop and implement professional development for licensed and non licensed staff
  • Other related duties as assigned
