Position
Under the general direction of the Head Cook, assist in the preparation of lunch. Work hours are 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM ( 4.0 hours per day, following school year).
Essential Functions:
- Prepare daily salad bar & condiment items
- Document records
- Sanitize cafeteria tables
- Assist with lunch preparation
- Wash dishes
- Serving lunch
Additional Duties
- Performs other related tasks as assigned
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with quantity food cooking preferred
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Computer skills helpful when cross training for other shifts
- Must have a good attitude and enjoy working with kids and students
- Willingness to learn and comprehend information from procedures manuals and other materials
- Capability to maintain composure and perform responsibilities under pressure and in cases of accidents or other emergencies
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with others contacted in the course of work

Qualifications Profile:
 Certifications:Â
- Safe Serve Certificate preferred, with option to obtain
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
Compensation:
Per the MSEA master agreement, B21 salary schedule, $16.50-18.00 per hour depending on experience. Addittional pay if candidate has a Safe Serve Certificate. The agreement is located on the district website under Employment Opportunities > Master Agreements.  Â
