Attentive to the individual needs of each child, creating a safe and inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported. With strong communication skills, they effectively collaborate with lead teachers and parents to ensure consistent care and guidance.

JOB SUMMARY:Â As a paraprofessional in our WRAP Preschool Child Care Program, you will play a key role in overseeing daily activities. This includes engaging with the children, setting up the site for daily routines, enforcing program behavior rules and safety guidelines, and offering support to the WRAP Lead.

Work Requirements and Characteristics:

Education/Certification/Licensure:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid Minnesota driver’s license
Â
Experience:
- Previous experience in working with children, specifically with disabilities, preferred
Â
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Knowledge and ability to apply basic computer, math and language skills
- Ability to work well with students and staff
- Ability to work with children of various ability levels
- Knowledge of district discipline policy
- Knowledge and application of Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training if required by the position
- Position requires exercising confidentiality in handling district information
