Position Overview:
Paraeducator position to work with students at Hayes Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year.  
Schedule:  3 hours/day Monday РFriday mid-day, when school is in session

Essential Job Functions:  

The supervision paraeducator position supports and supervises children in the lunchroom and at recess during the middle of the school day.  


  1. High School Diploma or equivalent
  2. Ability to relate to and communicate with staff and students
  3. Patience and flexibility in working with special needs students
  4. Willingness to expand skills
  5. Ability to take direction of supervising teacher
  6. Ability to keep information confidential
  7. Ability to model and reinforce appropriate verbal and interpersonal behavior
  8. Meet the requirements of being highly qualified by either showing evidence of having earned at least 60 post-secondary credits or passing the Parapro Exam within the employee probationary period.

Salary/Pay Rate:  $14.99-16.71 per hour depending on previous paraeducator work experience.
