Responsibilities include:
-
Use provided plans to monitor, and adapt students’ educational and behavioral program to meet the specific needs according to the Least Restrictive Environment in students’ IEPs

Deliver curriculum to meet IEP goals
-
Consistently and effectively manage the collaboration and communication between the appropriate service providers and special education team members
-
Develop and maintain positive relationships with students in a manner consistent with school culture and values
-
Create a safe and inclusive environment for all students to engage in classroom and school activities
-
Work with general education and paraprofessional staff to provide student accommodations and differentiate learning experiences for students
-
Use Google Suites, including Google Classroom, and Powerschool management system
-
Communicate with students, families, and colleagues professionally and effectively verbally and in writing.
Education Requirements
-
BA/BS or higher (MA preferred)
-
Valid MN teaching license
Preferred: Special Education Teaching License in one or more of the following Disability Areas: SLD, EBD, ASD or ABS; Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) preferred.
