Language Arts Teacher – Long Term Substitute (LTS)

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per Educators Contract

Position Dates:  January 9, 2025 through May 5, 2025

Work week: 1.0 FTE (Monday Through Friday, 7:30am -3:30pm)

Student Level: Grades 9-12 at White Bear Lake Area High School 

Position Summary:
Language Arts position at White Bear Lake Area High School.  A successful candidate will support a broad spectrum of high school students to take risks and grow. Performs difficult professional work providing a broad range of teaching services or specific learning program, assisting students to develop skills, attitudes and knowledge needed as a foundation for future learning in accordance with each student’s ability, using a variety of teaching and learning methods at various levels to a targeted audience, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Principal. Occasional oversight is exercised over Paraprofessional or Volunteer.

Education ane /or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in teaching, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Special Requirements:
Minnesota Teaching License Required.
BA or BS in English, Language Arts, or Literature
