Food and Nutrition Department Head Cook

The Austin Public School District has a Food & Nutrition Department Head Cook position available at Ellis Middle School for 7.75 hours per day on school days for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year. This is a 1 year temporary position.

The Food & Nutrition Department Head Cook is responsible for food ordering, mantaining inventory, production records and supervising a staff of Food & Nutrition Department Helpers.

The Head Cook is also responsible for for performing routine food service activities such as serving, cleaning, setting up for meals, cashiering and doing prep work.

Contract rate of pay begins at: $22.02 per hour
