Description
Ellis Middle School is seeking to hire a General Education Para Educator to assist in daily routines within our building.
The applicant will be responsible for supervisions as assigned which will include involvement in individual student monitoring, lunchroom monitoring, assisting the media center specialist, and other duties as needed. Ensure proper behavior and safety of students.
Qualifications:Â Candidate must have an AA Degree, AS Degree or 60 semester credits of post secondary education (equivalent of 2 years) or a passing score on the paraprofessional assessment test. Passing pre-employment physical.Â
Salary/Benefits:  Hourly starting rate of pay is $18.35 per hour. Other benefits according to the Para Educator Working Agreement are located within the Human Resource section of the Austin Public Schools website at www.austin.k12.mn.us.
