Elementary School Teacher

The East Grand Forks Public Schools is seeking an elementary school teacher with proven teaching experience or the ability to grow into an exceptional teacher. The preferred candidate must be a highly motivated, innovative, and student-centered teacher.  A background of working successfully with diverse learners, a commitment to differentiating instruction, and the ability to collaborate with colleagues is valuable to us. 

East Grand Forks, MN is a city with a population of approximately 9,000 and located in the heart of the Red River Valley in Northwest Minnesota.  It borders Grand Forks, ND and is very close to the University of North Dakota and Northland Community and Technical College.  The district’s K-12 enrollment is approximately 1,850 students and there are four separate school buildings housing grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12.

Minimum Qualifications: Minnesota teaching license in Elementary Education, K-6, or 1-6, or, the ability to get this license by the start of the school year.

Desired Qualifications:

Minnesota teaching license in Elementary Education, K-6, 1-6, or, the ability to get this license by the start of the school year. Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels a plus.
