Position Title: Educational Audiologist
Assignment Location: MAWSECO Member Districts and programs
Schedule: Full or part time
Anticipated Start Date: August 2025
Salary: $267.55 – $482.67 per day, based on education and experience. Placement per the EdMN MAWSECO Master Agreement, based on education and experience. Other compensation: Mileage reimbursement based on current IRS standard business mileage rate

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Audiologist is responsible for conducting hearing tests and making appropriate recommendations; for programming and maintaining hearing aid and FM devices for hearing impaired students; and consulting with teachers, parents and staff in addressing student needs. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Possess a valid MN license in Audiology
  • Preferred national association with American Academy of Audiologists or ASHA
  • Skilled in communicating effectively in interpersonal and group settings with professional staff, parents and Cooperative personnel.  Interactions require persuasion, instruction and working with others to gain cooperation and understanding of educational issues/needs.
  • Time management skills.
  • Skilled in report writing and communicating findings and recommendations
  • Skilled in the proficient use of technology systems, computers, electronic communication and hearing devices.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Skilled in the diagnostic, testing and assessment of hearing impairments.

ABOUT MAWSECO:

MAWSECO is an agency of seven-member school districts (Annandale, Dassel-Cokato, Delano, Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted, Litchfield, Maple Lake and Rockford) that have joined together to provide services in the area of special education. The mission of the Cooperative is to provide quality special education leadership, services, and support to its seven-member school districts’ staff, students and families as well as other agencies/districts that purchase its services. The MAWSECO central office is located in Howard Lake, MN which is west of the metro and south of St. Cloud.
