Computer Technician

Description

The person hired for this position will provide staff training on all technology devices, be able to work on computer breaks and fixes, provide preventive maintenance, maintain the district’s webpage and assist staff in updating their web pages, assist with set-up and maintenance of audio visual equipment systems in the school district including webcasting of events, assist in running different events such as “Celebration Day”, troubleshoot and maintain wireless networks, setup and deploy workstations and mobile devices, lighting, manage Chromebook’s, and install Interactive Boards and TV’s. A minimum of an AA degree from an accredited technical college or equivalent, and a working knowledge of Windows-based computers and related networks are required. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to travel between school buildings.

Exerting up to one hundred pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to fifty pounds of force frequently, and or up to twenty pounds of force constantly to move objects may be required. A high school diploma is required. The school district requires applicants for school district positions who receive an offer of employment to submit to a criminal history background check.
