POSITION:

Community Development Specialist

JOB DESCRIPTION:

LOCATION:

 Community Education Building

CLASSIFICATION:

 CLASS Level 5

RATE OF PAY:

 $25.83/hour* (based on 2023-2024  (salary schedule)

HOURS PER DAY:

 8 hours/day

START & ENDING TIME:

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:

 260 days/year

PAID HOLIDAYS:

 12

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum two years post-secondary degree or coursework in business, development, communications, or other related field or equivalent work-related experience
  • 1-3  years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of and commitment to Eden Prairie Schools
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Strong relationship-building skills, including exceptional interpersonal skills 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment; adaptable when managing multiple tasks; ease at managing competing demands and determining priorities independently  
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with a high degree of accuracy 
  • Strong computer and technology skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, familiarity with Google docs, and interest in and ability to learn new platforms
