Do you gravitate toward the water? Do you want to get paid to do something you love? Being a Lifeguard is an important first job where you will learn leadership skills, working with a team, and earn the respect of community members by providing a safe swimming environment. 

Certification includes gaining knowledge and skills to prevent and respond to aquatic emergencies, including CPR and First Aid training. Must be 15 years of age or older to become certified.

The primary focus of the Lifeguard will be to monitor activity and ensure a safe environment at the two District pool locations. Lifeguards are on-duty during swim lessons, open swim events and various rental activities throughout the calendar year. Swim lessons during the school year are offered in the evenings and Saturdays. Summer swim lessons are held in June and July.

Salary: $15.00/hour
