Qualifications

  1. High School diploma.
  2. Excellent interpersonal skills.
  3. Ability to work effectively as a team player with students and staff.
  4. Ability to work with and motivate students.
  5. Familiarity with district student right and responsibilities.
  6. Knowledge of child development. 
  7. Prior experience with behavior management in a school setting.
  8. An ability to hold high expectations while maintaining a student centered approach.
  9. A commitment to equitable educational outcomes for all students.
  10. Values a team-based, problem-solving, solution-oriented, skills-building process.
  11. A high degree of patience and flexibility.
  12. Demonstrated experience and proficiency working with a culturally, ethnically, racially and socioeconomically diverse school community is preferred.

 
Responsibilities

  1. Assist licensed staff with crisis intervention as directed.
  2. Background or experience in working with students on conflict resolution.
  3. Ability to relate well to students, staff and parents.
  4. Monitor/manage students needing behavior support.
  5. Confidentiality and respectful rapport with parents and staff
  6. Record keeping of student behaviors.
  7. Be fair and consistent in following district discipline policy and student behavior plans.
  8. Other duties as assigned by principal.

RAVE Clerical Association – Wage Group V :   $20.65 – $23.16 Hourly (based on 2024-25 contract)
