POSITION AVAILABLE:Â Behavior Specialist OR Behavior Analyst
Â
POSITION LOCATION: Serving districts in the Southwest West Central Service Cooperative (SWWC) region in southwest Minnesota.

POSITION SUMMARY: Â Â
Behavior Specialist:Â Assists school districts in the design and implementation of child-specific individualized intervention plans; conducts behavioral assessments; assist with program design, data collection and monitoring.
Behavior Analyst: Provides consultative support and training to teachers and district staff. Conducts behavioral assessments, skills assessments and develops individualized behavior plans. Trains and oversees implementation of behavior analytic interventions.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Behavior Specialist:   Assists in developing and implementing appropriate assessments and behavioral intervention methods for use in unfamiliar situations and for a range of cases; participates in child study staffings – provides feedback on behavioral assessments, interventions, and strategies; provides technical support and in-service training programs for teachers and other staff; consults and provides parent and staff training; provides regular service reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with implementation of behavior plans; serves as a liaison between school and other agencies.

Behavior Analyst:Â Develops and implements appropriate assessments and behavioral intervention methods for use in unfamiliar situations and for a range of cases; consults and provides staff training to support intervention plans at school; provides technical support and in-service training programs for teachers and other staff on applied behavioral analysis; and provides regular service reviews to ensure ongoing compliance with implementation of behavior plans.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Behavior Specialist: Bachelor’s Degree required with job related experience. Valid driver’s license required.
Â
Behavior Analyst: Master’s Degree required and must have or be willing to obtain Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification. Valid driver’s license required.

CONTRACT/SALARY: Full-time position to begin as soon as possible. Salary dependent upon education, qualifications, and experience. Excellent benefits.Candidates who have not previously served in a Behavior Analyst/Specialist position within our organization are eligible for a $3,000 signing bonus.
