Assistant Alpine Skiing Coach

POSITION:  Assistant Alpine Skiing Coach

START:  November 2024

HOURS:  Vary based upon practice time and meet times.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  To carry out the aims and objectives of the Alpine Skiing program as outlined by the head coach; to instruct athletes in individual fundamentals, and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. Must be able to adjust work for races and practices. Assist with races, practices, and the supervision of athletes in the Alpine Skiing program. Complete Minnesota State High School League coaching modules on an annual basis.

QUALIFICATIONS:  Previous experience working with high school age students. A strong background in Alpine Skiing as a participant and/or coach preferred. Must have good communication and organizational skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, parents, community members and students. Also, understands the role of the level the individual is coaching as it relates to the program.
