Adult Fitness Instructor –Â Community Ed Instructor
Community Ed Instructors are responsible for delivery of curriculum of Community School Programs.Â
Hours & Locations: Classes will be scheduled on a quarterly basis by the Adult Learning Programmer at a variety of locations throughout the district.
Duties include: Â Develop and deliver class information for adult fitness at all levels of fitness, including adapting instruction to help students meet their goals. Â Classes will be primarily group instruction, with some opportunity for small group or individual personal training.
Minimum Qualifications: Â High School Diploma or equivalent. Â Training and certification (ACE, NETA, etc.) in adult fitness instruction, Experience instructing adult learners. Â Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day and schedule. Â Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds. Â Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.
Preferred Qualifications:Â Â Training and experience specifically in kettlebells preferred.
Rate of Pay: Â $33.83/hour.
