Position Description:
This position is responsible for providing support to the Teaching and Learning department including Title II,TOSAs, professional development and tasks necessary to support the extensive work of curriculum, assessment,data collection, and instruction.
This position reports to the Executive Director of Teaching and Learning
Duties and Responsibilities (included but not limited to):Â
- Performs routine and non-routine administrative support duties, which include responding to inquiries from staff, and the community; scheduling and coordinating appointments, maintaining and updating the department
website; managing calendars; attending meetings and taking notes; revising and distributing standard documents and correspondence and coordinates and maintain confidentiality in all said activities. - Processes, prepares and records paperwork, databases, spreadsheets, applications, certifications, licenses, permits and other documents, forms, reports, and/or confidential information related to assigned area of responsibility; ensures completeness and accuracy of information; maintains related records.
- Supports targeted services and summer programming including Camp Explore. Create Elem/MS course sections in Skyward, confirm CLP goals are entered, enroll students in Skyward, enter elem student attendance, maintain student records and year-end processing.manage Rostering and Attendance, Maintain/store curriculum and supplies
- Responsible for data and assessment collection, organization, and distribution.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Four years administrative support or related experience;
- Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Able to speak effectively before parents, staff, and students.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality, ability to have several projects running simultaneously and to prioritize.
- Strong computer proficiency
- Develop effective working relationships with students, staff and the school community, communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
