Starting hourly rate between $24.95 – $27.10 depending on experience.

Typical Responsibilities:Â
- Customer Service: Creates an inviting and positive first impression of the District both in person, by phone, and by email. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and communicating effectively with families, staff, and community members. Answer questions, provide information, address concerns and resolve problems.Â
- Financial and Operations Support: Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, purchasing, and financial reporting. Maintain accurate data records and support data analysis for program evaluation and improvement. Prepare and follow up on purchase orders, and run financial and participant reports, including expenditures, revenue, registration, overdue accounts, and waiting lists as needed.
- Program Support: Support the planning and coordination of Community Ed programs, classes, and events, including registration, logistics, and communication. Handle registration inputs, maintain parent information and payment contacts.
- Database Management and Finance Support: Utilize software and technology tools for program management, registration, scheduling, data entry, and communication. Manage data in both registration (Eleyo) and the student information system (Skyward) to support registration processes and share information.Â
- Team Collaboration: Serve as back-up to Community Ed administrative professionals in the Welcome Center and at the Early Learning School.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; four years administrative support or related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Valid driver’s license required.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:Â Â Â
- Understanding of effective communication techniques, problem-solving strategies, and providing high-quality service to diverse populations.
- Familiarity with budget tracking, invoicing, purchase order processes, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in using registration software (e.g., Eleyo), student information systems (e.g., Skyward), and other technology tools for data entry, scheduling, and communication.
- Understanding of general office practices, including handling confidential information, maintaining records, and supporting office equipment.
- Ability to run and interpret reports related to finances, program participation, and registration data.
- Experience with Eleyo database and Skyward student information system, preferred.
- Communicate professionally with families, staff, and community members, both verbally and in writing.
- Providing excellence in customer service; must have proven experience interacting positively with the public.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines, even with frequent interruptions.
- Maintain high accuracy in data entry, financial reporting, and record-keeping.
- Strong critical thinking skills to resolve issues related to customer inquiries, financial discrepancies, or software challenges.
- Ability to handle more than one project/task at a time while maintaining positive professional demeanor despite numerous interruptions.
- Proficient with databases, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google products (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
- Work effectively with colleagues, providing support and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Ability to work in an environment where the noise level  is usually moderate.
- Preference is given to candidates with Somali, Spanish, Urdu, or Telugu language skills.
