Job Summary:  Independent School District #255, Pine Island is seeking a grade 6 teacher starting in the 2023-2024 school year.  A majority of the content covered by this teacher would be the Minnesota 6th Grade Language Standards, working with students in grade 6.  A portion of the day would also include working with 5th grade students, covering the Minnesota 5th Grade Language Standards. This teacher would be part of an outstanding team that is passionate about helping students learn and grow in every aspect of their lives.

The Pine Island School District is looking for a candidate who enjoys creating engaging curriculum and delivering content in new and exciting ways. All students are one-to-one with Chromebooks and there are opportunities for support to all staff members in the areas of technology, curriculum, and professional development. Pine Island Middle School has seen consistent growth for many years and currently serves more than 500 students.

Qualification Required:  A Minnesota teaching license that enables them to teach grade 5 and 6 Language Arts.
