South Washington County Schools (SoWashCo Schools) is the second-largest employer in Washington County - second to Anderson Windows

SoWashCo Schools is the sixth-largest school district in the state.

SoWashCo Schools employs nearly 4,000 people in various roles throughout the district.

SoWashCo Schools staff provides programming for students of all ages starting at birth with our Early Learning programs (Early Childhood Family Education, Early Childhood Special Education and Preschool) to our Kindergarten through Grade 12 students and Adult Education classes. We also offer educational opportunities through our Community Education program, available to everyone in our communities.
