In this work, we partner with school active and retired school administrators (“Professionals”) to fulfill certain services that benefit educator candidates. One such service is the review of resumes, cover letters, and other documents containing personally identifiable information belonging to candidates. The following guidelines set expectations for how Professionals should handle candidate information in such cases.
Any questions about the following can be directed to support@mnschooljobs.org.
Nondiscrimination
All Professionals supporting the work of Educate Minnesota are expected to conform to the Minnesota Human Rights Act and U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission policies regarding nondiscrimination in employment and all applicable Equal Opportunity Laws.

Professionals are expected to abide by the Principles of Professional Conduct for Career Services and Employment Professionals as published by the National Association of College and Employers (NACE). These principles require Professionals to provide a good-faith effort to support the interests of all candidates, and to help candidates make informed and responsible decisions.
Nondisclosure
Professionals are expected to treat candidate data received from Educate Minnesota as private. Candidate data that is not generally available to the public should not be disclosed to any outside party by Professionals.
